Short notice!!!!!!
We need all hands on deck for this one at La Presa Elementary.
110 bikes are going to be given to 2nd and 3rd graders.
Common Ground is stepping in to put together these bikes starting at 5pm Tuesday evening December 4 at La Presa Elementary School, 519 La Presa Avenue, Spring Valley, CA 91977. We'll be in the auditorium.
We hope to be finished around 7:30 or 8pm.
If we get about 25 able bodied workers, we can do it in about 3 hours. More workers...less time.
Pizza supplied!
Bring your (bike building) friends and a screwdriver and wrench. We attach the front wheel, the handle bars, and the seat. We also inflate all tires, and etch students initials on each bike.
We need a compressor or two. Please let us know if you can bring one (or have one we can borrow if you can't be there).
