Make Your Mark on Education -- Dry Erase Markers Needed

The days of green boards and chalk dust are gone. White boards and markers are the effective teaching tools of our modern schools, but with all the work there is to be done, the pens are used up quickly. That’s how you can make a mark on education.

Common Ground is seeking donations of Expo Dry Erase Markers for the teachers of our Common Ground schools. The goal is to collect at least 150 markers. You can purchase them at any office supply, art or craft store. Studies show that blue and green are the easiest colors for the children to read, but we will accept black markers as well.

You can drop the markers off at Foothills United Methodist Church, Santa Sophia Catholic Church or Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and we will get them into the hands of the teachers. Contact Theresa Erb at 619-670-4009 or svcommonground@gmail.com if you have questions. Thank you for your generosity.
