Elegant tea parties are another way Common Ground serves the children of our adopted schools.
Fifth grade girls at Bancroft, Casa de Oro, and Kempton Elementary Schools are treated each spring to beautiful gatherings which include dainty teacups, sparkling dishes, and blooming centerpieces. The parties top off a series of lessons on table manners and conversation skills.
We believe we are building healthier communities by "setting the table" for these young girls. If you would like to contribute to this gift, we could use your help. We have volunteer needs from baking and ironing napkins, to steeping tea and washing dishes. Please contact us at svcommonground@gmail.com if you would like to help.
